Hi there, friend. I’m Katie Podracky, an American Impressionist painter from North Carolina, and I believe it’s never too late to discover your creative voice.
I teach folks—many picking up a brush for the very first time—how to paint joy, light, and beauty in vibrant color. My classes are warm, encouraging spaces where mistakes are just part of the magic, and every brushstroke brings you closer to confidence.
My own paintings are collected nationwide and described as “full of uninhibited joy,” but my proudest moments are seeing a student light up when she realizes, “I can do this.” Whether you’ve been dreaming about painting for years or just want to try something new in retirement, I’ll guide you step-by-step so you can create work you’re proud of—and have fun doing it.
